Heap Leach Pad Liner Installation – Malaco Leichhardt Mine – Kajabbi, QLD
Geoline supplied and installed 10,000sqm of 1.5mm HDPE geomembrane for a heap leach pad in far north Queensland. Mine owner Malaco Leichhardt operate the copper mine located in Kajabbi, Queensland.
Geoline’s experienced geomembrane installers mobilised to site with welding and lifting equipment. Our team worked hand in hand with mine site supplied labourers to install the liner which was financially beneficial for the mine operator.
Due to the location and time of year that the project needed to be installed, Geoline had to implement a fatigue management system due to the temperature getting above 40 degrees celsius everyday.
